Today is Festive Friday over at the My Cricut Craft Room. (Giggle) Halloween is my favorite holiday and I feel like I'm a traitor! Today I wanted to do Erica's favorite holiday and that is Christmas. Erica has shown me some awesome new tricks and I wanted to show them to you all in this card I made for today's theme!
I used the Cartridge Doodlecharm for the cute Reindeer. I cut the reindeer at 4 inches and I actually cut the reindeer three times so I can make it more 3D. I embossed her nose and I took a stamp marker and added eyelashes and made a smile and added ears. I also embossed her ears with gold embossing powder. I think she looks cute.
I also used celebrate with Flourish Cartridge to make Merry Christmas and added a little more to the words by adding shadows to it. I added Red and Green paper to the lettering, you can't really see it in this picture.
The paper that I used also was called Bright and Jolly by Recollections.
In the inside I added a little something to this card! By the way I bet you didn't know but those presents are actually supposed to be candy stickers. Also the Christmas Tree was also used by the cartridge doodle charm. The little elf above is from one of the pages from the Bright and Jolly paper.
Well I hope you like my first Christmas Card!
I sure had a blast making this card! Hope you all have a great Crafting Day!

Hi Miss Mel....:O) Doodlecharms is one of my favorite cartridges ~ there are so many CUTE die-cuts on it! Love your card and I did notice that the edges were inked and you had a little bit of sparkle on your cards as well. Truly had the mark of Erica (like all of our cards too! :O) You did a FANTASTIC job creating this fun Christmas card! Hope you are rested now and Ethan is starting to feel better.
